About Us
In the state of Tennessee, the state governing body for the sport of Futsal is the Tennessee Futsal Association. The association has aspirations of integrating strong Futsal leagues with existing soccer programs throughout the state at the youth and amateur levels. The association works in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Youth Soccer Association and the Tennessee Soccer Association to further develop the skills of the state’s youth players.
Tennessee Futsal began promoting the sport in the spring of 2000 with demonstrations and small tournaments. Tennessee Futsal is established to help our youth develop not only into great soccer players but also into productive members of society. Futsal provides a lot of entertainment for all who participate. Since everyone on a Futsal team must work together as one entity the most important concept to promote is teamwork. Together we can produce the best soccer players in the country.
All players registered with the U.S. Futsal Federation through the Tennessee Futsal Association will receive medical insurance coverage while participating in any sanctioned Futsal leagues and tournaments. Annual USFF Futsal dues are just $9.00 for youth players, $14.00 for adult players and $13.00 for coaches. The association will also provide facilities insurance coverage for all Futsal leagues. Annual Tennessee Futsal fees are an additional $2.00 per player which covers our operational expenses and programs.
If your organization wants to further the skills of your soccer players, then Futsal is the game for you. Tennessee Futsal is looking for people to develop local leagues at the youth and amateur levels. The association will be happy to work with you on establishing the game in your area.
